NYCS State Level Conference

A one-day State Level Conference on the theme “Cooperative for Sustainable Development” was successfully organised by the National Yuva Cooperative Society Limited (NYCS) in collaboration with the Department of Cooperation, Government of Assam. The conference aimed to strengthen the cooperative movement and highlight its role in sustainable development with a special focus on youth empowerment. Shri Jogen Mohan, Hon’ble Cabinet Minister for Public Works, Hills Areas, Cooperation, and Indigenous & Tribal Faith and Culture Departments, Government of Assam, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. In his address, he appreciated the dedicated efforts of NYCS in promoting cooperative values and empowering the youth across the state.

The conference was also addressed by Shri Krishan Kanta Bora, Organising Secretary, Bharatiya Kisan Sangh, Assam and Shri Biswajit Chakravarty, Zonal Joint Registrar of Cooperative Societies, Guwahati. Both speakers commended the initiatives undertaken by NYCS and provided valuable guidance to the participants and NYCS District Representatives from various parts of Assam.
